The Ohio River Road Runners Club is dedicated to promoting running and supporting the local running community in and around Dayton, Ohio and the Miami Valley. Founded in 1966, we are a 100% all-volunteer 501(c)(3) Ohio Non-Profit club, a member of the national RRCA, and, with roughly 1500 individual members from 900 member households, we are one of the largest (and we think BEST) clubs in the nation. We support the community by offering a full schedule of quality running events (40+ per year), training groups, and educational seminars.
We are known for our inexpensive, high-quality running events - most of which are free for members ($9 for non-members). Many of our events are part of an extended series - like the Team Series, the Trail Series (Dirt Dawgs), and Grand Prix Series (which promotes competition and volunteerism throughout the year). We also hold four major events, throughout the year, that combine to serve over 11,000 participants.

We are looking for volunteer race directors to direct several of our upcoming races, both large and small. Directing a race is a fun way to give back to the local running community and to add your own personal touch to your favorite race. Currently, we need directors to take charge of the following events:
- 34th Annual ORRRC Turkey Trot (November 2012)
- ORRRC Marathon/Half-Marathon (April 2013)
And did we mention the awesome ORRRC Race Director jackets that every RD earns? They are great! So if you are interested in taking charge of any of these fun races, then please contact any current ORRRC trustee or officer. Thanks!
The SnD series will be sanctioned by USA Triathlon. Membership in USAT (yearly or single event) is REQUIRED for participation. See www.usatriathlon.org for membership info.
Note: Due to increased costs since 2010, the event fee has been raised to $10 per race. Also, we will only be providing series awards to participants of at least 2 of the 3 events, and will only award five deep in each age group.
As in the past, there will also be a Just Dash 5k for the non-swimmers. Membership in USAT is NOT required. ORRRC small race fees apply.
