The Ohio River Road Runners Club is a group of individuals dedicated to promoting running and supporting the local running community in and around Dayton, Ohio and the Miami Valley. Founded in 1966, we are a 100% all-volunteer 501(3)(c) Ohio Non-Profit club, a member of the national RRCA, and we are one of the largest (and we think BEST) clubs in the nation. We support the community by offering a full schedule of quality running events (40+ per year), training groups, and educational seminars. Most importantly, we are a family of citizens who work together to serve our community.We are known for our inexpensive, quality running events - most of which are only $3 for members ($9 for non-members). Many of our events are part of an extended series - like the Team Series, the Trail Series (Dirt Dawgs), and Grand Prix Series (which promotes competition and volunteerism throughout the year). We also hold a few larger events throughout the year - including our popular Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot in Miamisburg (which draws 7000+ participants) and the ORRRC Marathon/Half-Marathon (which is Ohio's oldest marathon).

ORRRC Nominations for 2009-2010 Trustees.
Please get you nominations in by July!
In preparation for the September Annual Meeting, it's time to nominate the 2009 Trustees. If you are a current ORRRC member and can commit to making the ORRRC a better club please contact another ORRRC member in good standing. They can nominate you at the July Board meeting either in person or in written form. If you are on the fence, talk to sitting member or attend a board meeting. We would love to have your input. The club is always looking for new ideas and direction.
We are required to have 5 to 15 Trustees. If we receive more than 15 nominations, a member-wide vote occurs before the September Meeting. The new trustees then vote between themselves for the positions of the Officers: Treasurer, Secretary, Vice President, and President.
