ORRRC Stuff

For most club sponsored events, race fees are $3 for members and $9 for non-members.  Seniors (60 and over) are $2 for members, $5 for non-members.  Youths age 15 – 19 are $2.00.  Youths 14 and under are free.  Occasionally an event will be noted as a Fun Run.  A fun run will have no awards or finishers medals.  The entry fee for a fun run will be $2 for both members and non-members.

Exceptions to these fees are ORRRC Marathon & Half Marathon, Lou Cox Memorial Run, Carol Wolff Women's Race, 50Ks, Ghost-n-Goblins, Turkey Trot and Splash & Dashs.  Fees will be determined by the race directors and noted on the web page and registration forms. 

Awards will be trophies, plaques, and/or medals/ribbons. They are awarded in the following age groups for men and women:  9 and under (non-competitive, all finishers are winners) 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 & up.

 

Founded in 1966, the Ohio River Road Runners Club was the 12th chartered member of the Road Runners Club of America.  Your membership will keep us the 16th largest club in the USA. See just a few of benefits in the list below.

Become a Member!
Membership is open to everyone but is not necessary to run in our events. Members will receive a quarterly newsletter from the Ohio River Road Runners Club. Dues are $25.00 for one year + $5.00 for each additional family member or $65.00 for three years + $10.00 for each additional family member. Membership is good for one or three years from the end of the month you register until the end of that month the following year(s).

Board of Trustees members serve one year terms.  New boards are placed into effect at the Annual Meeting in September.

The club always needs dedicated volunteers to serve as trustees.  If you are an ORRRC member and want to contribute as a trustee, then please contact a sitting board member.  Trustees meet once per month on the second Thursday at 7:00pm (see calendar for specifics).

All Board meetings are open to all ORRRC members...after all it is your club. If you have an item to bring before the board, please notify an Board member a few days beforehand, so that it can be added to the meeting agenda.
