Just about any time that you can get 7000+ people together in one place, at the same time, during the holidays, well, you can pretty much expect a party.  So throw in some music & DJ entertainment, some free prizes & giveaways, and cool stuff to see & do, and what do you get?  The Turkey Trot Expo, of course!

Every year, on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, The Baum Opera House turns into the place to be.  This year is no exception.  Not only will we be distributing packets and accepting on-site registrations from 11:00AM to 7:00PM, but we will also be doing much more.  For example...

Win Free Stuff

Throughout the day on Wednesday, we will be announcing several random prize drawings from our exhibitors.  These include:

• Kettering Sports Medicine Center will be giving away two "Linking Lab to Life" performance packages which include: VO2max testing, anaerobic threshold testing, resting metabolic rate testing, body fat testing, nutrition analysis, and EKG.  Each package is worth $275.  Register for these drawings at the KSMC booth.
• Runners Plus will be giving away several door prizes during the expo.  Register for these drawings at the Runners Plus booth (upstairs, next to packet pickup).
• Bellbrook Massage Therapy will be giving away two 1-hour certificates for massage therapy valued at $60 each.  Register for these drawings at the Bellbrook Massage booth.
• Trilogy Movement Studio will be giving away ten Pilates Matwork Classes (valued at $9.99 each), one month of Muay Thai Kickboxing (valued at $99), one month of Yoga (valued at $99), and one 1-hour massage session (valued at $65).  Register for these drawings at the Trilogy Movement Studio booth.
• Roderer Shoe Center will be giving away four pairs of shoes!  These include one pair of Newton running shoes (valued at $175), one pair of MBTs (valued at $245), and two pairs of Vibram Five Fingers (valued at $85 per pair).  Be sure to register for each of these separate drawings at the Roderer Shoe Center booth.
• Chiropractic Fitness Centers and Dr. Andrew Damron will be giving away hourly Health and Wellness Consultations, which include: Nutrition Assessment, Stress and Trigger Point Screening and Bio-Electrical Body Composition Analysis (valued at $350).  One Grand Prize winner will receive a Nutritional Wellness Package, containing supplements to aid in healthy digestion, stress  & adrenal support, and the ever-popular Nano Greens!  Register for all drawings and Grand Prize at the Chiropractic Fitness Centers booth.

All of our exhibitors have something great to offer, but be sure to catch these:

• Bellbrook Massage will be offering 10-minute chair massages for $10 and 10-minute foot massages for $15.
• Trilogy Movement Studio will be performing Yoga, Pilates, and action-packed Muay Thai Kickboxing demonstrations.  Feel free to join in and participate! New Schedule of Demonstrations:

• Runners Plus will be collecting old lightly-used running shoes to be donated as part of the Soles4Souls program.  Bring your retired shoes to the expo and drop them off in the Soles4Souls bin, located in the Runners Plus booth (upstairs).
• Breaking News: The City of Miamisburg has partnered with the Nike Reuse-A-Shoe program to collect old beat up running and athletic shoes that are too worn to be used by the Soles4Souls program.  So if you have old running shoes that are otherwise destined for the garbage, bring those with you.  You will find the Nike Reuse-A-Shoe bins in the Runners Plus booth (upstairs).
• Free popcorn and drink at the Farmers & Merchants Bank and ORRRC booths (downstairs).
• Shake hands, get an autograph, and pose for photos with our new Turkey Trot mascot, Tom the Trotting Turkey. Update: Tom the Trotting Turkey will be on site from 3:30-7:00PM on Wednesday.  Rumor has it that he may also be running the race on Thursday.

Roads to Recovery - a parent-founded 501(3)(c) non-profit organization serving families in the greater Dayton area who face autism spectrum disorders, will be selling delicious cheesecake to raise money for their operation. (All profits go to Roads to Recovery.) All products are frozen solid and have a 90 day shelf life in the freezer. But let's be honest, you're probably going to take them home, thaw them out, and serve them on Thursday for Thanksgiving anyway.  Choose from:
