General Information
Running teams compete in a series of 10 races. Most of the races are organized by the Ohio River Road Runners Club in Dayton and are open to individuals as well as teams. Each team member should sign up for the race as an individual entrant and should report their place to the team captain at the end of the race. The distances range from 5K-17K.
Forming a Team
Submit a team roster with a $25 check made payable to Ohio River Road Runners Club to Byron Kimmel. Runners cannot change teams during the calendar year. Although many teams are affiliated with a company, they do not need to be affiliated with a company. New team members can be added through April 30, 2006. After that date, company teams may only add employees and employee’s dependents. Club teams may only add team member’s dependents to the roster.

All females over age 60 will have their finish place divided by 4.
All men age 60 and up, females age 40-59 (master females), and all children under 14 will have their finish place divided by 3.
All master males (40-59) and all females aged 14-39 will have their finish place divided by 2.

Teams are awarded points for each race. The team with the lowest score earns the most points for the race. For example, first earns 20 points, second earns 19 points, etc… If a team is not present at a race, they are assigned the lowest score for the race. Teams starting in the middle of the year are assigned the lowest score for the races they did not attend. The team results are posted on the ORRRC web site at http://www.orrrc.org.
